Solid Piece Miniature Miniature which can be created and pulled from the mould in a single piece, requiring no pre-assembly at the factory. No undercuts can be present in the miniature design. Mould needs to be created from a 3d graphic file or physical master sculpt.
Factory Assembled Miniature Miniature, more complex and larger in design, which needs to be moulded in multiple pieces and pre-assembled at the factory. For designs with undercuts, this is the only possible option. Mould needs to be created from a physical master sculpt.
